i like my phone, i won't lie. when i got it about a year an a half ago, it was the hot item...there were spiffy commercials about it, and it was one of the first touch-screen phones that compared to the iphone.
well, my loverly phone decided it doesn't like to be charged, and on friday night, i heard a sizzling noise when i plugged it into the charger. uh oh.
but wait! i have insurance! went into radioshack, and they said that i need to pay sprint $50 to get it fixed. merp. but wait!, they said, you can upgrade to a fancier phone! there i was, salivating over the android phones....and then i looked at the price tags. two-hundred-flippin'-dollars. after the upgrade discount. really? sheesh!
finally settled and ordered a newer version of the phone i have for $30 online. my phone IS fancy...just not the latest fancy. i'm starting to realize that i tend to get pulled into the trap of the latest technological trends. when the iphone first came out i was like "why would someone need all THAT?". now, i can't part with having my email updates with me at all times. i want a netbook, an e-reader, and more. not good things to want when i'm trying to save money, huh? so for now, i'm going to hold off on the electronics i don't need.
because, really? my samsung instinct is all i need!
