craftiness!

so, i have figured out a more specific list of resolutions. i don't know if i want to share it all with the general public, though, because some of them are pretty personal. merp.

ANYway, lately i've been obsessed with reading craft blogs. some might say i'm a blogaholic (kind of like how my friend, olivia, is a wikiaholic)....i read an interesting blog that links to another blog that links to another one, and so on. because of this, i'm now following close to 10 craft blogs! (many of which are linked up to ilovetocreate.com)

i've been in a crafty mood lately, but haven't done much about it. and i'm sometimes not very good at finishing projects. namely, the blanket i promised to knit tony about 2 years ago. oh, and olivia's scarf from christmas 2008. oops. i'm pretty good at finishing my decoupage and painting projects, though. probably because they don't take as long!

so anyway, beth and i recently decided that we should start crafting more. she is good at making stepping stones, and we have many ideas for other crafts. i've been in love with etsy.com for a long time now, but never set up shop on there. mainly because i'm not good at coming up with my own ideas (good at copying other people though and adding my own flair to it!), and i don't have a staple style. so, we might make a lot of crafts for the fur and feather swap in april. basically, it's a place to buy and sell things related to small animals. my dad usually sells chickens. beth and i might make many chicken-related things. if we get started on it now, maybe we can have a ton ready by then! (doesn't help that we are both extremely busy and live about an hour away from eachother. oh well).
