to be fair, i have been insanely busy. meh.
ANYway...we got the keys to our new place last friday, and are in the process of moving in (probably will stay "in the process" until june 30th, when our current lease is up!)...so i thought i'd share a few pictures!
our livingroom with new floors!!! (i'm going to have to be careful not to scratch them!)
our little kitchen....which isn't as little as our current one, so that's good! (oh, and they let me pick the wall color for it)
by the way! if anyone has any crafty suggestions for that florescent light, let me know! it's kind of .... not homey.
i think i'll put my painting from world market in the open space above the sink.
and finally, our view:
it's not the most exciting, but it feels pretty secluded, and at least it's not facing the parking lot, like our neighbor's patio is!
so, there you have it! i'll probably take more pictures once we're moved in and settled. i'm excited that i get my own bathroom, and am debating what kind of decor i want to put in there.
i think the hardest thing to get used to when we move is only having three windows (including patio door), and living in a more traffic-y area than where we are now. right now, our backyard is a giant park, and we have like 8 windows. that's probably what i'll miss most about our current place.
i'm excited about the new floors, walk through closet, separate bathrooms and extra space, though! :D
