chicken candles!

i may have mentioned this in a previous post, but my sisters and i have deicded to make a bunch of crafts for the "fur and feather swap" that goes on every year.  usually, people are buying and selling live animals or products from animals or accessories for their animals.  WE are making chicken crafts! (we grew up raising chickens to show at the fair for 4-H, and our dad sells them at the swap).

so far, i've painted chickens on candles:

i'm not completely satisfied with the one with the chicks on it...might need to revamp it.

i've had a few friends tell me they want to buy them, so i guess i'm going to have to make more!!

(by the way, i got the candles at the dollar tree, and already had the paint....so, selling them for $5 or so will be a great profit!!!)
